'Wish It Were You' comes from the feeling of longing that comes from a long distance relationship.

I had never felt any type of strong interest towards anyone until my boyfriend, Nate. I have cared for others but at the end of the day, I felt okay if they were to leave. I wouldn't fight too hard for most people in my life.

Nate inspires me in a way I have never been before. I find myself doing things I wouldn't usually do just to be the best version of myself for him. In fact, I wouldn't have started working on this website without him. I want to push myself to work on more projects in hopes to grow my skills in web design so I can open up more oppoturnities for myself.

'Wish It Were You' is the feeling of longing I feel sometimes. Other couples have the luxury of spending time together physically. We don't have that. I hug my Ikea Djungleskog sometimes, imagining that it's him.

I like to think that I appreciate him more because of the distance. I swore to myself that I will never take him for granted.
